$500 Village Credit Union College Scholarships
Deadline for entries: June 1, 2011

Village Credit Union is offering two $500 college scholarships
to high school seniors entering college in the fall. Candidates must
have a Village CU account in their name and be in good standing with
the credit union. Entries must be postmarked by June 1, 2011.

Awarded in one payment the fall semester of the student’s freshman
year. |

Eligibility: |
These scholarships are open to any student with a Village Credit Union account in good
standing during their senior year of high school. |

Basis of Selection: |
The Village Credit Union
Scholarship Committee will use the following criteria to choose the
scholarship recipient:

Academic excellence and grade point average.

Leadership ability as exhibited by extracurricular activities,
school activities and community involvement.

Personal character.
-
Need.

Entry Deadline: |
All entries
must be hand-delivered or postmarked by June 1, 2011. |

Scholarship recipients will be notified via phone or mail by June 30,
2011, and are required to allow the credit union to announce their
first name and use their photo in the fall 2011 issue of the Village Credit Union newsletter.
